Sales Conditions

The delivery time and the ordered material and price will be confirmed by AREA within 24 hours from receipt of order.

AREA will specifically request customer approval for the confirmation of this delivery time, material and price. In case of not receiving the requested confirmation, AREA deemed correct and accepted by the customer.

The payment will be agreed in each case with the customer fulfilling the new law 15/2010 of 5 July 2010.

The customer specifically agree that the implementation of the offer shall be subject to the general conditions for the supply and installation of electrical, mechanical and electronics products associated with Orgalime SE -01 Brussels, September 2001 Edition .

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

Guarantees shall be executed in direct mode for one year from the date of sale, reserving the right to request AREA material for analysis. AREA also reserves the right to award an additional warranty period of certain products, through a warranty document attached on these specific products.

The warranty request has to be in a written form, giving the reasons for the complaint.

If AREA requests the material for analysis, the customer will receive a Return Authorization document issued by AREA.

The customer must return the material requested by AREA, freight prepaid, to our location in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda (Barcelona), enclosing a copy of the Return Authorization received.

The reclaimed material can be analyzed by AREA or, in some cases, can be shipped to the appropriate manufacturer to proceed to its analysis and rule on the cause of the problem.

The material manufactured by AREA or another company in our group as well as that sold under brand AREA will be used in all cases by AREA .

In the case of material analyzed by AREA , It will be issued and made available to the customer a technical report within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of receipt.

In the case that AREA send the material to manufacturers, AREA deliver the technical report from manufacturer to customer within 24 hours of receiving the report .

AREA warranty will not cover the material that has been installed or used incorrectly by the customer, the installer or the end user. The technical report, dictate whether the failure is caused by incorrect installation or use, or a manufacturing defect product

The warranties for manufacturing defects will be the replacement of defective goods or the payment thereof.

It is at the discretion of AREA how the guarantee will be met either by reposition or by paying the material.

RETURN MATERIAL CONDITIONS

Returns will be accepted within the next 15 calendar days from the delivery date. All returns must have prior authorization from our sales department who will assign you a return number must be included in a conspicuous place in the delivery of the returned merchandise. Material returns will not be accepted without such reference. The material shall be shipped freight prepaid by the customer to our address: C / Valencia ship 17-19 4 Ind. Can Oller 08130 Santa Perpetua de Mogoda. Barcelona. Spain. The material should arrive in perfect condition and in original packaging. As soon as it is verified the status of the return, the customer will be paid up to a maxi-mum of 85% of net invoice value for the costs of packaging and product reviews.

All conditions of sale, warranty and return material foregoing apply immediately from the date of publication of this document until the publication of a new edition to replace the present.

TERRITORIAL RESTRICTION OF SALES

PANASONIC, GMCC and FRASCOLD, throughout Italy: the sale of products is restricted. Also in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland will not be able to market BRISTOL compressors. And BOCK compressors mustn’t be sold in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium.

E-COMMERCE

Delivery

During business hours (Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.), AREA undertakes to:

- Send its products marked as "IN STOCK" within the following delivery periods: 24 hours to Spain and 48 hours to other European countries, for orders placed before 12 p.m. Customers shall be informed of said delivery periods within 60 minutes of the order being placed.

- If any changes are made with respect to the initial information or/and if the delivery periods are not satisfactory, the order may be cancelled within 60 minutes (or before 4 p.m. (GTM+1) on the same day for orders placed between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.). In all other cases, AREA shall consider the confirmation to be correct and accepted by the customer.

 

Terms of Payment

Payment terms shall be agreed in each case with the customer, and shall comply with the new Law 15/2010 dated 5 of July 2010 and accepting the TERMS OF PAYMENT described in this document.

The customer accepts that the implementation of the offer is subject to the general conditions for the supply and installation of electrical, mechanical and electronic products associated with Orgalime SE -01 Brussels, September 2001 Edition.

Territorial sales restriction

Selling products distributed by AREA is prohibited in the following places (country/region):

1. Scandinavia: Bristol
2. Italy: Bristol, Panasonic, GMCC
3. North Korea: No country
4. Iran: Panasonic, Bristol
5. Cuba: Bristol

For the manufacturer Gea-Bock: restrictions in Croatia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, France, Greece, UK, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Austria and Switzerland

 

Warranty conditions

Warranties shall be attended to directly for a period of a year following the date of purchase and AREA reserves the right to reclaim the material for its analysis. AREA also reserves the right to issue an extended warranty period to some products in its portfolio, by means of an additional specific warranty document for these products.

The warranty claim shall be made in writing, alleging the reasons for the claim.

If AREA claims the material for its analysis, the customer shall receive a Return Authorisation document issued by AREA.

The customer should send the material requested by AREA by prepaid postage to our Perpetua de Mogoda (Barcelona) facilities, attaching a copy of the received Return Authorisation.

The claimed material may be analysed by AREA in some cases or may be sent in other cases to the corresponding manufacturer in order for an analysis to be carried out and the root of the problem determined.

The material manufactured by AREA or other companies within our group, as well as those marketed under the AREA brand shall be analysed in all cases by AREA.

If the material is analysed by AREA, a technical report shall be issued and made available to the customer within 30 days from receipt of goods at our facilities.

If the material is sent by AREA to the manufacturer, AREA shall submit the manufacturer’s technical report to the customer within 24 hours from receipt of the report.

The warranty by AREA shall not cover the material that has been incorrectly installed or utilised by the customer, by the installer or by the end-user. The technical report by AREA or by the manufacturer of the product, as the case may be, shall rule whether the fault is the result of incorrect installation or use, or by a defect in the manufacturing of the product

Warranty coverage for defects in the manufacturing process is limited exclusively to the replacement of the defective product or a refund for said product.

The decision whether to replace or refund the material under warranty will be at the discretion of AREA.

 

At time of receipt: If the customer signs the agreement form provided by the delivery company as to the state of the goods, AREA Cooling Solutions shall not accept responsibility for the possible poor condition of said goods.

 

 

Conditions of return of material

Returns shall be accepted within 15 calendar days from the product delivery date. All returns must have the authorisation from our sales department, which will assign a return number that must be placed in a visible place on the delivery receipt of the returned merchandise. Returns without this reference shall not be accepted. The material should be sent by prepaid postage by the customer to our address: C/ Valencia 17-19 nave 4, Pol. Ind. Can Oller 08130 Santa Perpetua de Mogoda. Barcelona. Spain. The material should arrive in perfect condition and in its original packaging. Once the return state is verified, a maximum of 85% of the net invoice value of the product shall be refunded to the customer, to cover product review and repair costs.

All aforementioned conditions of sales, warranty and return of material apply immediately from the issue date of this document up until the issuance of the next edition, which will replace this one.
